Warm Up #15 12/04/19
1) Why can it be helpful to have lots of ideas?
P.S. On Friday (12/6), I will pick one random warm up to grade from #8 to #17 (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, make sure you have all your warm ups in your digital science notebook)
9th Grade:
Putting in a Window Poem
1) What is this poem about?
2) How can we apply this to our project?
3) How can we apply this to our lives?
Ideation Warm Up: Narration (10 minutes)
1) In groups of 4, pick one person to be the first narrator and have them stand up.
2) Standing members improvise a narrative based on a random object (Tina will provide!)
3) The sitting members will give a new object to the narrator every few sentences, preferably just when it seems like they have a story arc in mind.
4) The narrator must complete refocus the story on the new suggestion.
5) The exercise ends when everyone has had a turn to narrate.
Mind Mapping Part I:
Today's goal is to get META about what makes a good project. We will, individually, take some time to map out what we know/think about good projects. Tina will model the map on the board.
Mind Mapping Part II:
Please pick three project ideas from yesterday's brainstorm and mind map more details about them.
