Warm Up #9 11/18/19
-Humans are often referred to as "carbon based lifeforms", what do you think this means?
Carbon Cycles:
Today we are going to continue reading The Carbon Cycle in a jigsaw format. This means you will be assigned to a certain portion of the article and will be responsible for responding to the questions associated with that section. You will then form a group with the other humans who were assigned that section and discuss/check each other's answers. EVERY STUDENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR READING THE INTRODUCTION AND THE STUDYING THE CARBON CYCLE SECTIONS AND RESPONDING TO THOSE QUESTIONS AS WELL.
From there, you will join a new group that is comprised of humans who have been assigned all the other sections. You will share your knowledge (and your answers) of your section with your new group while they return the favor. In the end, each individual should have ALL of the questions answered, correctly, for ALL of the sections.
Please begin a new entry in your digital science notebook titled: Carbon Cycle- 11/15/19. Please write your responses to the questions in your notebook and be sure to title the sections and number the questions. Homework: Read the Introduction and your assigned section of the article and respond to the questions by the beginning of class tomorrow, (11/19/19).
